Ingredients:
- 2 cups icing sugar
- third cup condensed milk
- pinch of salt
- peppermint essence
- dates
- almonds
Method
- Mix half icing sugar and milk with teaspoon peppermint essence and a few drops of green colouring into a firm paste
- Take about a teaspoon of paste, roll in hands into little balls, put onto greased paper and press each ball with fork making it flat
- Leave to set
- With remainder of ingredients make into paste, following previous instructions
- When formed into balls press into them dates or almonds
- Leave to set
- No cooking needed
